WHY USE A CONSULTANT?

Well, first because there is no charge for the service. More importantly, we have a combined 54 years experience helping clients navigate the franchise maze. This experience will save you time, money, and stress. Also, since we have a track record with these companies, they know you’re a pre-qualified candidate, you’re taken seriously and given priority status.

HOW CAN THIS BE A FREE SERVICE ? WE WOULDN'T HAVE IT ANY OTHER WAY.

The Federal Trade Commission sets certain standards and rules under which franchise companies operate. As an indirect result of that, it is virtually impossible for franchise companies to charge different fees to franchisees who were or were not introduced to the franchisor by us. The price is exactly the same whether you use our services or not.

WHAT ARE THE HOT FRANCHISES TO PURCHASE?

There’s no such thing! Hot may mean here today, gone tomorrow. Buggy whips were “hot” at one time. What’s important is that our clients get involved with a franchise that represents a great fit for what they want, need, and can afford.

HOW DO I FIND A GOOD FIT FOR ME?

That’s where we come in. We are experts at matching franchisees with franchisors so that both parties have the maximum opportunity for meeting or exceeding their goals.

IS IT O.K. TO BUY A FRANCHISE IN AN INDUSTRY ABOUT WHICH I KNOW LITTLE OR NOTHING?

Absolutely; in fact, it's even preferable. The franchisor should be the expert in their industry – not you! What they’re looking for is someone with a particular skill set that will be a good match for their concept. They’ll then teach that person how to be successful within that industry.

WHAT IS THE FRANCHISOR LOOKING FOR IN A CANDIDATE?

This will vary among franchises. It’s our job to match you to franchises that fit your wants and needs, and for which you are a good fit as well. Good franchisors “award” franchises to qualified individuals who are a good fit and can afford it; they do not sell franchises to just anyone who can write a check.

IS THERE FINANCING AVAILABLE?

Yes, possibly, from a number of sources. Ask us about this issue. We can help. Click Here for more details.

HOW MUCH CASH DO I NEED?

This can vary greatly depending on what type of franchise represents a good fit for you. Let’s discuss!

DEFINITIONS AND TERMS:

Franchisor:

The company that will be granting you the right (“license”) to use their business operating system. Sometimes referred to as the “zor”.

Franchisee:

You, when you purchase a franchise. Sometimes referred to as the “zee”.

Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD):

The FDD is mandated by Federal Trade Commission Rule. It must be given to you at least 14 days before you purchase a franchise, and you will be asked to verify your date of receiving it by signing and dating an appropriate receipt document. It contains a wealth of information about the franchise that will help you make an informed decision. Most importantly, it has contact information for the company’s franchisees, so that you may reach out to them and get information about their experience with owning the franchise.

Validation:

The process whereby a prospective franchisee contacts existing zees to gather information. We consider this one of the most important of all the steps in our process.
